Pictures of the car, Baur Tag and Alpina Plaque were sent to Tom. 
I noticed the lack of basic Alpina parts and the screws that attach the Alpina plaque to the dash do not appear to be authentic. If it were a true Alpina, can you imagine a scenario wherein you'd replace the plaque screws? Nevertheless, the Baur appears to be in excellent condition.
I'm calling the owner this evening.
