@ na2998. What you are saying is not entirely true. The "shudder" he is experiencing could be caused by his torque converter failing to lock up and the tranny shifting between gears. Here's the test. When your tranny starts shuddering, move the transmission mode selector from D to 4 or move the mode switch from A to M. This puts the tranny in manual or sport mode. The transmission should not shudder cause it now has different shift points in Sport mode and no shift points in Manual mode. Anyway, the TCC relies on signals from the module. The modules sensors work off of fluid pressure, so, cloggs and thick/hunt fluid can jack the shifting quality. I say change the fluid. Do a simple drain, filter fluid change. Should be about 4 qts. Runs tranny, shift through gears and top off fluid until it over flows. You have to work quick as the tranny must be kept within 30-50 degrees celcius. - Big Biz IL.
