Well, what strikes me is that one car is eight years old, and one is brand new. After eight years, that's still a very relevant car, and even still well ahead of the other cars that are much newer. Whether it is pretty or ugly, it was that way 8 years ago and hasn't changed at all, like when you see some cars and think, "What were we thinking back then."

I always thought the side was beautiful, and I still think it is. I never minded the Bangle Butt. The S-Class copied it. The Acura RL copied it.

The front always gave me grief. I never liked the headlight set up. The '08 update helped a tiny, tiny bit, but it was always the front that troubled me. The M6 always looked like a gorilla in the front, to me. But I tell ya, that was the best car that I have ever had. I literally never went to the shop, and it had a lot of technology for the day.
