I had one of my tires
patched about 3 months ago. It's my winter set but I've had no issues to date. The customer service person actually made the appointment for me while I waited on hold. If you have the the wheel and tire warranty or road hazard warranty and they want to replace it, then I would go that route.

I had a screw removed and patched in my FY Rolflat by a GY Rolflat store about 15 months / 12,000 miles ago and no issues with the repair.
If by chance you are under 12 months you are still covered by the original GY warranty contained on the DVD in your OM / warranty packet.
