Showed on National Geographic channel last week here in RSA too. Show was part of the Megafactories series, (S5/E9) - BMW X3. Featured the new generation X3 factory added to the existing factory in South Carolina where the X5 and X6'es are built. Must be the same show and channel.
Very interesting show 
Problem is, watching the show make you want to have one, which I cannot right now
