So, if I have understood you correctly, now:
Fob 3 Open = Big Hatch / Close = Nothing
Fob 4 Open = Small Hatch / Close = Big Hatch
Inside Open = Big Hatch / Close = Big Hatch
This would seem normal, except that one would expect Fob 3 Close = Big Hatch & Fob 4 = Nothing, which I believe is how @ISTBimmer's works with those identical settings, or even better if Fob 4 Close = Small Hatch.
And if my understanding is correct, if your ECU is wired the same way @1STBimmer's is, then there has to be some other code we are missing that is causing the difference. If your ECU is wired differently though, then some other combination of the already identified codes should allow your Fob 3 Close = Big Hatch.
