Don't forget to factor in "loss of use" when computing the final offer. This can be negated if you are provided with a rental car while the adjucation process goes on. I suspect you will get mid book for your car since it is a high miler. The insurance company will then sell it to someone who, probably using body parts from a flood damaged X3, will fix it up and sell it to a used car lot -- you know, one on the outskirts of town with the dusty plastic flags and the salemen wearing snakeskin boots. Anyway, glad you were not hurt! That really is the main thing. Cars can be replaced!
