Mein Auto: From BMWs to Porsches
Know going in that you will pay for the pleasure to drive this car...M6s are high-performance vehicles and this one is out of warranty. So, in addition to routine maintenance like oil changes (about $250) and brakes (about $1K), the car will take a quart of 10W60 synthetic oil about every 3K miles, more frequent fuel fill-ups...500HP V10s are thirsty monsters, new tires every 7K miles or so...a set of Michelins for this car will run you about $2100. Depending on how well the previous owner drove and took care of the car, 76K on the odometer may or may not be problematic, but keep in mind it's not the same as buying a Camry with this type of mileage.

Currently: 2015 Porsche 911 GTS and 2016 Cayenne S eHybrid

Past BMWs: `05 645CiC; `07 650i; `08 M6 convertible; '08 135i; `11 750ix MSport; `15 M235i convertible

Others: '11 Panamera 4S; '13 Boxster S; '13 911 C4
