BMW to invest £250m in UK
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18764730
BMW is investing an additional £250 million in their three UK plants. This comes on top of a £500 million announced in June. Primarily this new spending is to increase MINI production, but some of the money is going to the Hams Hall engine plant.

As well as extra investment at the Oxford plant, the money will be earmarked for expanding production capabilities at the steel body pressings plant in Swindon and BMW's engine plant at Hams Hall, in the West Midlands.

They are also looking into a short term partnership with Nedcar to build MINIs under contract.
