Maps are always up to date, text-to-speech is probably the best they have, routes using Google's traffic data, has multiple diff't route types, and to top it all off, it has an endless database for POIs, something Garmin can't match.

You can now cache maps into the storage so when cell signal is low, it will still work.

Hardly "crap"
