Remove the heads and lower oil pan, see what you find and go from there. You will need new valves too if the timing chain jumped.
With the M62 enine, you might match it ... you need a different DME, re-programmed, and I don't know if will match the transmission (software speaking too).
The cylinder heads, might not match. I'm not sure.
