The Alex Smith redemption train continues to rumble, with a big assist from a surprisingly weak GB defense. Some of those completions looked like practice. Some milestones from the SF Chron:
San Francisco ended an eight-game skid at Lambeau Field that dated to 1990, snapped Green Bay's 13-game home winning streak and held high-powered Green Bay under 24 points at Lambeau for the first time since 2010.
Yeah, who were those guys who were saying we blew it for all time by drafting Smith instead of Rogers? They were, uhh, that is, I mean, uhh . . .
Alex Smith: (20-for-26, 211 yards, 125.6 rating), tossed a 14-yard second-quarter touchdown to Randy Moss and threaded a 4-yard dart to Vernon Davis to give the 49ers a 23-7 lead midway through the third quarter.
Dreamers, misfits, malcontents, finding the world not to their liking, imagine themselves perfectly suited for the world as it ought to be. – anon
