The reason I said to check the bulbs is that for some reason some of the bulbs installed by the factory behave lets say oddly. The dealership that I worked for had a policy that required us to replace all the bulbs if there was any issue. All the bulbs would look fine but sometimes a light would stop working before the customer would pick the car up or shortly after and then start working fine for a period of time. When one bulb doesn't work there isn't enough amperage for the flasher to flash. I have had the service writer come and get me for one not working just to have it work normal when I got the vehicle back. You could have a bad connection someplace or even a flasher unit that might have an issue. Most of the time an intermittent problem is a bad connection or a loose wire and a bulb that looks fine can have a loose wire that vibrates out of place at times. Hope this helps I know these problems can be frustrating.
