You are replacing an OEM USB port in the OEM baseplate with another OEM USB port, using OEM cables while keeping the same fundamental OEM USB capability.
Unless you claim that your unplugged OEM baseplate is malfunctioning somehow then I do not see why any warranty has to be voided (or not).
