Averaged out, 0 - top speed should occur in roughly the same amount of time. With a 3.07, a ZHP could hit its top gear in 5th gear. A 3.46 will require you to shift to 6th to hit 155. So it'll likely end up being the same amount of time.
IMHO, the main reason for switching to a 3.46 would be to expand the engine`s torque range in the middle of it`s band, making around-town driving and back-road corner scratching more enjoyable. The shorter diff *might* shave a tenth or two from the 1/4 mile time, but the difference would not be earth-shaking....
