Yes or no (M3 Man)

Yes Logical Thought -- you are right. My logic was a bit off with the numbers. But I am not sure if I should get the maintenance package and the extended warranty. Seems like a rip off considering the low miles I put on the car. What seems more like a logic is taking a chance on the extended warranty and the maintenance and budgeting the money if anything does go wrong. Chances are that a low miles will not create many problems, but one serious problem could cost me over 10,000 dollars and that would hurt. So I have a year to decide. My warranty does not expire until November 24, 2013. I can do the brakes myself. That is not the issue. But just because I can budget $5,000 a year does not mean I should pay BMW NA for the warranty and extended maintenance -- they make money off of us and I have a local mechanic that can also work on my car when the maintenance goes out. So input is appreciated.
