The SA called me Friday afternoon to advise they were waiting for a part that they would have by Monday (today). He said the brake/abs problem was a wheel sensor on the rear right. He mentioned something about some damage. I reminded him that they had repaired my car a couple months ago after I clipped the curb with my right rear wheel. They had to re-align it and fix the rim.

Looks like they may have missed something else.

I'm expecting they may try to charge me for this. I'll have to discuss this one further as they should have fixed it the first time.

I'll let you know what they say.

Meantime I'm enjoying the new 328i. It's actually quite miserly on the gas, getting near 27MPG. The small turbocharged engine is also rather peppy. Can't get used to the (8?) speed tranny. It just winds up through the gears at about every 600rpm increase!

I had to defeat the auto engine stop/start feature. Very annoying.
