I agree with all that was said above. To answer your question directly, yes parts are readily available for the m10 engine. They're a dime a dozen in the Puget Sound and I'd guess in your area too. If you get a good builder, a quality rebuild should last you a good long time. The engines are known to be pretty bullet proof. But, as was said above, these are old cars and, as such, require a lot of maintenance and repairs until you get them fully sorted. I would advise that you keep your cost to a minimum by even maybe buying a good used engine until you're sure you're up for chasing gremlins all the time and the demands of a sometimes tempermental car.
