You don't say what your current suspension is or what size wheels you are currently running. If your primary reason for doing this is to improve appearance and you wish to retain your current wheels/tires, adjustable coilovers is the best approach as the height would be adjustable. However, overall appearance is a function of several considerations, including height, rake, size of wheels and how well your wheels/tires fill your wheel wells. If there is a specific "look" your are seeking, it is better to replicate those components to attain that "look". Otherwise, you are experimenting and that can lead to disappointment.
