Perhaps we should clarify one point...and say all e53 X5 wheels fit all e53 X5s. The e70 X5 wheels have the same issue that the e39 5 series wheels have...and that is a slightly larger 74.1mm wheel hub versus the 72.56mm wheel hub of its BMW model stablemates of the same model nomenclature.

An e53 X5 owner would have issues mounting e70 wheels (of any size) onto their vehicles due to this larger wheel hub size...hub centric rings would be required to mount e70 wheels onto an e53.

One could also just use one of the online part databases, as see which X5 wheels are available for their vehicle. For instance, if one went to and entered the last 7 digits of their VIN...then went to the WHEEL'd see that the Style 87 wheels are listed in the part nbr index BELOW the diagram...which means they will work for your X5.
