How are the Goodyear LS2 RFT's for NE winters?

I live in NY and my plan was to run my stock Msport 19" wheels/tires from Dec-April for winter use. My car is a 2013 535xi so they came with the dreaded Goodyear LS2 all season tires. I know this tire is prone to sidewall bubbles but how are they in terms of traction over the winter months combined with the xdrive? I don't plan on taking the car out with anything above 4-6" of snow on the ground. I am concerned about how traction is when its below freezing and in slushy mix.
