RE anti-seize I don't use it as BMW and Bosch recommend you don't. When I changed the factory plugs at 82K miles they came out easily.
However, there are many that swear by the use of anti-seize and I wouldn't argue with them if it works well for them.
If you use anti-seize, apply it sparingly. I would back off to 20 lb-ft to avoid over-torqueing.
