Have them check the thrust/tension strut bushings to make sure they haven't gone bad. BMW uses a fluid filled bushing and when they leak all the fluid, it can change the linkage alignment and impact wear on the fronts. Very little to adjust on the front. If something is really bad, then you might have a bad suspension arm somewhere. Good Luck.
