I don't know about this color thing making a car more likely to be stopped by a police officer. Now the speed that the car can reach fairly quickly, that may attract their attention. I have had a Guards Red Boxster S for 11+ years and have never been stopped in it. I have never had a front plate on it. And, when appropriate, I drive it like it was meant to be driven.

I did like the car but driving this in the Los Angeles area or Orange County area is definitely a "Pull me over" signal to all the lonely officers just itchin to hand out a ticket these days.
My next car will be one of the orange shades BMW offers on the new M3/4. Even if I have to pay extra through the individual program. That Lime Rock edition is one good looking car. I report back if I am wrong..... and I may be!
