i just did this on my 2007 x3, it worked perfect... even though this post is 5 yrs later..... it would hesitate a lil from a stop.. i went to the dealer and asked if there were any recalls, there were none.... i've been annoyed by the takeoff ever since i got it.. after doing this it was fixed immediately!!
