I have to say if you have driven the new X3 for any length of time, it rides NOTHING like the previous generation X3. Expansion joints, uneven pavement, potholes, etc are not a problem in the new X3. Drive the 35i for a few days and I think you will like what you see. I also think the Q5 is nice as well so you couldn't go wrong either way.
