Bay Area dealers do pay a $500 MACO (pays for all those bayareabmw.com tv ads).
Monterey BMW is not part of the bay area region and does not charge MACO 
When I purchased at Monterey last May, the invoice matched the numbers from BMWConfig (one option was $5 less). There was a $180 Training/Service fee.
