Looks like we've brought this back in from the dead. When I've driven my girlfriends 2007 X3, I've always noticed its really "jerky" when bringing the car out of a dead-stop. I simply thought this was due to the car being a heavy SUV. I'll have to try this procedure tonight and post back with my results.
