Yes I agree with you. After opening it, I found it is not gap issue. It is lubrication or either spring issue. I put lot of lubrication, now it is much better. I mean before I was not even able to open it. Almost half an hour I was able to open it. Now It is easily opening at least. Thank you all guys for your help and guidance.

Now I want to fix my hood. It is not closing. I am wondering if I can check its lock is working or not? Both holes are seem to be empty? Is it correct?
