Excellent. And totally agreed about the low f-stop, I have to manual focus in some situations when I'm at 1.8 on that 50mm.
You are at a bit of a disadvantage, in your particular situation though - that black finish plays heck with the camera's meter while simultaneously reflecting everything but the flash you point at it...unless, of course that's exactly what you don't want to have happen.
