I'm assuming the other stuff needed changing also, after all, they all flagged up as faults in the system. I hope a software update and re-set will have sorted it. We shall see.
I do notice a slightly high pitched 'wind howling' kind of noise when I'm cruising and put gentle acceleration or deceleration. It is only tiny, but as a musician, I notice it. Never noticed this on previous other BMWs I've had, but I have never had a 2004 318i before.
