This will play music from ipod/iphone/mp3 device. It does not allow you to make handsfree calls, maybe some kind of adapter would work with it?
I use the official BMW bluetooth kit for handsfree calls, fully integrated with MID and steering wheel, but that costs ~$500, and installs in trunk near changer.
