Foggy Headlights (Inside) Looking Like A Thing Of The Past ...
All props to blackedout5 for the DIY write up that inspired me. I'm halfway done with the project (driver side headlight near completion) & I'm already happy with my decision to remove the lens from the housing to restore luster to the headlamps.
The 2nd picture is after a light wash & buff. The lens is reattached or sealed yet. The orange reflector is still out awaiting black paint. And I cut the lens out that was in front of the turn signal bulbs. Reason being ... the bulbs began flaking orange paint all over that mirror in there & I wanted to clean it out. Thinking of leaving it off. Tomorrow I will use a rubbing compound to get rid of the swirls, then use PlastX to bring them to a nice shine. I'll seal them back with the same material & method used by blackedout5. I'll post more pictures and then, finally, some more of them reinstalled. Peace, 'Fest!!
