I could see them replacing the DDE, getting it proigrammed, STILL have the error...and the tech, in utter desperation- becuase HE told puma there was nothing wrong with the sensor or wiring- finally gets down to it and really troubleshoots every connection, all on the QT never telling BMW. Gets it fixed, and reports "the DDE did it"...
I would not be concerned with the battery discharge issue- that has never been attributed ti the DDE. Usually another bad module on the busses.
I must have mistaken the DDE as being a major issue if replaced. I'm eagerly awaiting the email from my SA this afternoon to see if it worked.
