Good to hear that the 323 with snows may be doable. Are there any more winter drivers out there that think the RWD with snows would be fine? We will be doing a fair amount of highway driving.

I live in Chicago and drove a 300zx (no weight in the back) during the winter with a set of Bridgestone blizzak snow tires.

It slid less than my mothers AWD SUV with all seasons.

That being said, I have snow tires on my 07 335i but this year Chicago got almost no snow.

Because my 3 series is 17 years newer and has much more sophisticated electronics, I'm sure it will be better in the snow.

You shouldn't have a problem with proper tires.
