I'm still on the fence about the flywheel. I have no intention upgrading the clutch or anything anytime soon. I like how this car shifts, etc.

Here are my options:
1) Pay the dealer to replace it and hope that it is worth replacing
1a) If the flywheel is in good condition resell it for $100 to make up some of the cost
2) Tell them I'm not going to pay for it and only replace it if warranty covers it.
2a) If the clutch has issues afterwards, then I can take the car back at a later time. I still have 5 months/7k left on warranty. I believe dealer repairs are covered for 12mo/12k.

I am leaning more towards option 2, then falling back on 2a if there are any immediate problems. Do flywheels fail?
