Pointed this out to the CA during a walk around and he agreed it was crazy to have paid $4400 for the Exec Pkg to get soft close doors but the trunk was not included. I get the strong feeling the '14 is going to fix this.
It's primarily the slow in opening that drives me crazy. I feel like if I could open the trunk, throw what I need into in there, close the trunk, hop in the car a drive off in the period of time I'm waiting for the power trunk to open.

BTW, it is truly annoying if you push the button to close the trunk, walk around and hop into the car, start her up, and get a warning light the the trunk is ajar. You look in the mirror and see that it reopened itself because it encountered some pressure while closing. After that happens a couple of times, you will find yourself waiting for the trunk to close before you walk away from it.
