If you're using Bluetooth connection for your iPhone you will get zero functionality from any of the "BMW Apps". That means no integration for Pandora (thumbs up/down/skip), no FB/Twitter/WikiLocal/etc.
The best method, with zero consequences, is to connect an iPhone via USB. Use BT for phone/text, of course.
