If you have an owners manual...don't be afraid to refer to it...because it gives details as to what the warning lights mean. In this is one of the most misinterpreted warning lights due to many owners thinking that the battery is the culprit...when more than likely, the battery is the VICTIM of the alternator/charging system not keeping the battery charged.

If you've UNLOCKED your OBC, I'd run TEST 9 before starting the engine (to keep an eye on the health of your battery's make sure that it isn't dropping below 11.89 volts...which means that the alternator/charging system is killing the battery)..and while the engine is running to see if the alternator's output is staying above 12.8 volts. If the alternator is not putting out enough voltage to recharge the battery, it will eventually kill your battery and leave you stranded on the side of the road.
