My experience on the 19" LS2 is that it is very obvious when the tire goes flat. I had a sidewall blowout. They tell you not to drive over 50 MPH and believe me you won't want to. You can feel it in the steering and there is some vibration and I suppose the braking suffers also. I suspect that there would be less vibration with a simple puncture flat. But, you can definitely drive it unlike a blowout on a conventional tire. I drove it for 60 miles without any drama and the rim was not damaged. They definitely "run flat" and do a good job on that count.
