I got same problem on my 2013 X6M, i have 2010 X6 35i but no whistling noise, and i just using paint marking tape to cover all the area, windshield, wipe blade, door seal, sun roof seal, and i just found out it's made by the mirror , the wind went through between mirror and mirror frame gap creating the noise, maybe it's not your case but you can try this and marking tape method, hope that helps
