As a sidenote, I will probably be selling my complete setup soon with the hopes of recouping some my expenses. It's a turn-key diagnostics + coding/programming solution proven to work reliably on E34, E39, E46, E60, and R50 with all modules on all cars:

a. Dell Latitude laptop: dual-core 1.83GHz, 2GB RAM, 120GB HDD, fresh extended battery
b. $80 cable with the standard K-Line/D-CAN (as well as L-Line that worked with an early E34)
c. 10-ft extension cable
d. INPA 3.01, INPA 5.00, EasyDIS, NCS Expert+Dummy, WinKFP, updated E39/E46/R50 daten files, etc. preloaded
e. Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel), FileZilla FTP, Foxit PDF, etc..

I made the mistake of giving the little 20-pin adapter a while back, but I ordered a new one last night as a replacement. Probably selling for $300/all.
