Pushed the button and spoke to the lady in the sky at BMW Assist. She said the MyInfo issue I was seeing had been seen with other '14 vehicles. She "reset" or "reinitialized" my account (did not delete the second driver - me - or additional phone numbers). It seems to have worked since two map message I had previously sent appeared in the Messages where bmw5dm3's picture shows.
So, I think I am working...at least for now ... until they make the next change
