Hi,
I am in IL. Got a lease quote from dealer:
2013 328i xDrive - No additional package - Moonroof and heated front seats
Jet Black
Basic car MSRP - 40,945 (chekced in BMW internet pricing and this is correct)
Holiday discount - 1,000
-------------------------
Lease price - USD 39,945
Down payment - USD 3000
Lease term - 36 months
Miles/year - 10,000
Res value - 56%
Monthly Lease amount - USD 507
The dealer did not give any other price or fees to be paid. Is this a good deal?
No, no, no, NO! Please don't accept this offer. You can do much better. I would suggest you contact a few more dealers by e-mail/phone, and see what they can do.
What you quoted here is much too high for a base 328i with $3000 down. You're basically paying "sticker" price for this car, and then some more. You should be able to get that same payment, with zero down.
Hopefully some of the experts will chime in here, and give you a few more pointers.
This has to be a joke.
Insist on the lease deal for a 328xi posted on BMW's web site, if dealer refuses to accept it, move on.
Consider contacting dealers in the Chicago suburbs and see what they have to offer.
terrible deal. you are paying sticker price. I just got a lease deal on a 328i MSRP of 42,195.00 for essentially invoice price of 39,000, then all of the incentives (holiday cash, usaa, loyalty, and test drive app, totaling $3025) subtracted from that number. You can do much better than what they offered. Start with invoice price, then let them reduce that with the incentives. Then calculate the lease price.
Also, do you know about the bmw app deal? Download app on your iphone and schedule a test drive thru it, you get to deduct $300 from your first lease payment
Thanks for the reply. Are you calculating the lease based on $39000-$3025=$36,000(approx). How much is your monthly lease amount? also, did you pay any one time fee e.g. Documentation, Tax etc at the time of delivery?
yes 39k - the incentives and down payment is the number the lease is calculated from. I put 2k down as well. my monthly payments are just under $380 for a 39month/10k lease. I live in DC which adds 10% use tax every month to the payment, so in other states the number would be less than $380. I did not pay anything for taxes or tags at inception (the DC 10% monthly tax is essentially the tax). inception I am paying just the 2k down payment and first months payment. Good deal I think
it sound like bloomington bmw. i asked about the modern line with xenons and the best they would do is $1600 over invoice. terrible deal.
