Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help me... I have had my X5 for 3mths and have used a Nokia 6310i with the bluetooth phone prep and it worked fine. I have now just purchased a Nokia 6600 and cannot connect it to the car?? I have been told by Nokia that it is a new sort of bluetooth that may not be able to connect with the car. Has anyone got any advice on how it may work?

Thanks :)

I also have a 6310i that connects without issue, I must admit i've not come across a new type of bluetooth, I assumed it to be an industrial standard.

What happens when you try and do the pairing ?

No, it comes up with not supported or something like that. Any solution or was that the new phone idea ?

Nb.

I have a multisim setup so I keep the 6310 in the car and just switch nominated sim. If your with Vodafone, you might want to look at that so your 6310 is the car phone and your new one is the main phone.

Vodafone charge about 5.50 per month for a multsim.

Have to do a manual switch though as voice control doesn't seem to understand "hash"

You need to nominate to accept inbound calls to the second phone, but can always make outgoing even whilst on a call via the other phone.
