My problem finally solved. I took my 525i to an independent repair shop and in 1 hour they determined thru a diagnostic check that the Telematics Control Unit (TCU) was bad. After it was replaced everything works fine, including blue tooth. The TCU is an amplifier looking box located in the left rear of the trunk. It was easy to remove & replace.
Is anyone has a good procedure for this as what it has done at BMW coding website?
Also may be someone has NCS Expert and INPA to do and has experience with it
I found a local BMW mechanic in Dallas, not a dealer. The TCU was $276.50, reprogramming was $150, plus $75 for diag.
