After finishing off a sweep of the Colorado Rockies to stay three games back of the division leading Rangers, the Los Angeles Angels are looking to continue their win streak against the team with the best record in the majors, the Los Angeles Dodgers of Los Angeles. The Halos have won nine of their last twelve games against the boys in blue.

Howie Kendrick of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim is a true M3 enthusiast like ourselves. Not only does he daily drive this cleanly modded E90 M3 to and front the field, but also an Alpina B7 and perhaps the most coveted of all the M3s - the E30 M3.

Subtle is king. The custom interior, which features extensive use of Alcantara, red stitching and laser branding. MHT wheels, Dinan suspension and a Dinan exhaust gave the rest of the car an aggressive style and sound.

We have since made a few changes to Howie's M3 by installing a Challenge Race carbon fiber trunk, an Akrapovic Evolution titanium exhaust system and, of course, the VF Engineering VF620 supercharger system. Howie couldn't be happier with the new power under his hood; now putting down close to 540whp, this M3 has been successfully transformed into a beast. Even though the car is making an additional 200hp it still drives just like a stock M3, which is a plus when you daily drive in Southern California's ridiculous traffic. However, when you decide to mash the accelerator pedal to the floor while gripping the wheel, you quickly remember that this is no stock M3!

If you happen to recognize Howie's M3 on the local freeways, hopefully you'll know by now that attempting a race would be futile!

Enjoy!
