Touring. I was fortunate to have owned one of these while stationed in Germany in the 80's (they never sold these here in N America). Mine wasn't an Alpina, though. That is a really rare version.
I'd never seen one either, that's why I took the pics. I have no idea what it's worth, but I'll bet you could easily buy a new M5 for the same type of money.
Not an Alpina, but my car is the Scrawny twin brother of the Alpina. "tribute" car pictured in this thread. I am very familiar with the car and know the previous owner well.
Dunno, Ramona is only about 45 minutes from La Jolla, so it could have been the same one.
