I found a 95 m3 wiring harness on eBay for 270. I don't want to dump that money and that not help.. Can anyone give me some Advice or even the wiring harness?

Ken's (hornhospital) point was that the Make of a car is the Manufacturer. In this case BMW. You will find a ton of tongue in cheek sarcasm and friendly ribbing here especially if you make a pretty fundamental error (like that), if you find yourself unable to deal with it, then you're best to move on.

That said, IIRC all OBD I wiring harnesses were the same for BMW by body style and # of cylinders. (Coupe is for coupe, sedan for sedan, 'vert for 'vert). Like nearly everything E36, there is next to no distinguishing features betwixt ///M and non-///M.

Thank you.. I wanted to be clear. One of my mechanics said only 94 325i would be straight. The other mechanic said it wouldn't be.. I know it's not my computer and I didn't wan to pay full price already have enough $$$ in the rebuild.. So 93-95 325i only??? And of course it has to be standard..

What about EWS? Isn't that involved with the harness? Also manual/auto (95 M3 so I imagine manual) harnesses are a bit different, right? The auto harness doesn't have a reverse light switch plug, etc.

Ninja! Darn you, Jon.

Every single regular on this forum will vouch for Dino. Documentation really should be unnecessary, if he says his harness is x number of years old with y miles on it, then that is the case.

Haha, you're good man. They're just messing with you ( a lot of people seem to not like this) that's how we are here.

And as for your question, I'm not sure i really understand but the car that it came from had asc so i don't think you'll lose it

Sent from my SPH-D710 using Bimmer

EDIT: Ok i logged on from the PC and it looks like an EGR class just took place

I doubt anyone here knows much about the harness that he is selling. Just messing with you. It happens here. Sometimes. A lot of times. Most of the time.

Ok, all of the time.

Guys correct me if I'm wrong but if I get/use a 94 325i harness I would lose traction control and what else if anything?? I don't have to worry about the EWS because I'm running red label 413. Help a guy out. A brief history I bought my M july5 2011from Corpus Christi.. 3 days later I money shifted... I had a roommate you Owen a bimmer shop I gave him for a motor and he burned me their went 2k... Feb 2012 I bought a rebuilt s50 with 3k miles($3300) on it also ceramic racing headers. He recommended the mechanic and dude ****ed my car bent the clutch forks bent a whole bunch of ****.. Paid another 1200 to get the motor running.but it has this issue.it won't start right away it kicks and kicks. I'm just hoping to catch a break a straight answer...

Um. I don't understand what any of this means.

Except the straight answer bit, but even that is not a sentence.

Yes.

So, now that we've finished the hazing and you've survived, let's see if we can get your problem fixed.
From your description of the hard starting where you state it "kicks and kicks" if you mean that it's trying to catch and fires a time or two and then spins and then fires a time or two and then spins, that sound more like fuel starvation to me. If you've got a wiring issue (an intermittent open) you're going to get the engine spinning by the starter with nothing happening, or you're going to get a start up typically.
I'd be first checking the fuel system to ensure that you've got pressure at the fuel rail that feeds the injectors. If it's low or zero then it could be the fuel pump, the fuel pressure regulator, or a simple thing to change, the fuel filter.
Seems you've been down the path of throwing parts and $$$ at this car, let's work on really getting it correctly troubleshot and then correctly fixed.

If you'll try to be very detailed and descriptive in the symptoms (correct punctuation and grammar counts in this sub forum) we'll try to walk you through the troubleshooting steps to figure out what's really wrong.

Then check your cam and crank position sensors. If they're malfunctioning, it can prevent spark and fuel.

For the wherefore as to requiring correct grammar and punctuation:
