Looks like from here there's no price increase over the 2012 models for the Premium and 5.0i at least. Is that right? Would they increase prices later in the year?
If you look at the pricing, the price of Nappa leater is basically built into the base price of the SAV model, so if anyone is considering the Nappa, just order the SAV and it is standard.
Looks like BMW USA has the 2013 X5 up and running now on the website, with pricing of options. When you choose to build your own, it says "2013." Only major difference I see is that it now reflects the orion silver paint option for 2013 models.
Does the 2013 X5 have as standard or as an option a "Blind Spot" warning light (my wife loved the feature while test driving Volvos and MBs - still wants the X5).
So, 2013 is the last model year to have this classic shape. I guess BMW will sell a record amount of X5s for MY2013.
Spy photos of MY2014 are not encouraging. The taillights appear to be vertical (similar to a Toyota 4 Runner) instead of the current horizontal spread.
Vertical taillights are inadequate for a vehicle with such a wide rear.
MY2014 seems to now have a massive front grille juxtapositioned with headlights that are too small. I'm wondering what BMW are up to. Have they become complacent?
I think the LCI of MY2011 improved the E70 X5. Unfotunately the designers of MY2014 have turned in the wrong direction. Is there something in the drinking water?
Thanks for asking. At this time we are only offering the Bimmerfest Internet Special for CA/West Coast.. There are Bimmerfest sponsors in the SE who can help you though!
